#MUSUEMSFROMHOME – Stay Home with Titanic Belfast!
In 2012 Titanic Belfast opened its doors of with the aim of showing that the spirit that built RMS Titanic was still present today. Since then, the iconic building has become symbol of Northern Ireland and its giant spirit. Now, more than ever, people need to support each other and while everyone does their bit to #StayAtHome, the world-leading tourist attraction is bringing a little bit of Titanic Belfast to you in the hopes of helping you beat the boredom during lockdown.
As part of BBC’s Arts Culture in Quarantine Museum from Home Day (30th April), Titanic Belfast in partnership with Antenna International, will be making its Multi-Media Guide audio tour available online for free for the next 90 days! Enjoy being taken around the iconic Titanic Belfast building and through the Titanic Experience galleries from the comfort of your home as you listen to lots of fascinating facts and additional information exclusive only to the guide. The tour will be released in three parts, starting from Thursday 30th April – watch out for it on their website and social media.
For those with a keen interest in learning more about the Titanic story, 14th April saw the attraction recently mark the 108th anniversary of the luxury liner’s tragic sinking. Take a look back on its social channels using #Titanic108 for a timeline of events as they unfolded after the ship struck the iceberg, or catch up with an online tour re-telling the story from the character’s point of view using #ANightToRemember.
