Nicky Dunn, OBE
Nicky has nearly 30 years’ experience in leisure management. More recently she has also been involved in placemaking both in NI and London.
Nicky is on the Board of London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) which is responsible for the long-term planning, development, management and maintenance of the Olympic Park and its facilities after the London 2012 Games. She chaired the Park opening and operating committee pre-opening. She is a member of the Investment Committee and Chairs the separate Stadium board. She also Chairs The Jockey Club Live and The Netball World cup 2019 and is a board member of The Young Vic Theatre in London.
Previously she held various positions in venues, including Chief Executive of Odyssey Arena in Belfast from 2000 – 2010. She oversaw the operational design, planning and opening of the venue, which opened on time and within budget. She and her team then developed the business into the 8th busiest Arena worldwide.
Nicky was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s 2016 Birthday Honours in recognition of her services to the tourism industry.
