The annual Maritime Festival is the signature event for Titanic Quarter. In conjunction with Belfast City Council, Titanic Foundation work closely with local partners, Titanic Quarter Limited and Belfast Harbour to animate the waterfront area. Tall ships and smaller vessels dock at Queen’s Quays and the marina, and the surrounding open areas contain fun activities for families, along with an array of performers, musicians, flash mobs and numerous street food traders. We’ve had everything from ziplines to traditional ropemakers, face painters, model boat displays, linen weavers, climbing walls, archery, magicians, flashmobs featuring dancing policemen, to mascots having a danceoff with events staff.

If you are interested in taking part in the next maritime festival, as events staff, volunteer, music or theatrical performer, arts & craft provider, or street food trader please get in touch below. Due to the nature of the event most activities take place outside (we hope for good weather every year!) so bear that in mind when getting in touch.
